91:1
ش-م-س

وَٱلشَّمۡسِ
وَالشَّمْسِ
wash-shamsi
By the sun
ض-ح-و
![]()
وَضُحَىٰهَا
وَضُحٰىهَا
waḍuḥāhā
and its brightness,
91:2
ق-م-ر
![]()
وَٱلۡقَمَرِ
وَالْقَمَرِ
wal-qamari
And the moon
ا-ذ-ا
![]()
إِذَا
اِذَا
idhā
when
ت-ل-و
![]()
تَلَىٰهَا
تَلٰىهَا
talāhā
it follows it,
91:3
ن-ه-ر
![]()
وَٱلنَّهَارِ
وَالنَّهَارِ
wan-nahāri
And the day
ا-ذ-ا
![]()
إِذَا
اِذَا
idhā
when
ج-ل-ي
![]()
جَلَّىٰهَا
جَلّٰىهَا
jallāhā
it displays it,
91:4
ل-ي-ل
![]()
وَٱلَّيۡلِ
وَالَّیْلِ
wa-al-layli
And the night
ا-ذ-ا
![]()
إِذَا
اِذَا
idhā
when
غ-ش-ي
![]()
يَغۡشَىٰهَا
یَغْشٰىهَا
yaghshāhā
it covers it,
91:5
س-م-و
![]()
وَٱلسَّمَآءِ
وَالسَّمَآءِ
was-samāi
And the heaven
م-ا
![]()
وَمَا
وَمَا
wamā
and (He) Who
ب-ن-ا
![]()
بَنَىٰهَا
بَنٰىهَا
banāhā
constructed it,
91:6
ا-ر-ض
![]()
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ
وَالْاَرْضِ
wal-arḍi
And the earth
م-ا
![]()
وَمَا
وَمَا
wamā
and (He) Who
ط-ح-ا
![]()
طَحَىٰهَا
طَحٰىهَا
ṭaḥāhā
spread it,
91:7
ن-ف-س
![]()
وَنَفۡسٖ
وَنَفْسٍ
wanafsin
And (the) soul
م-ا
![]()
وَمَا
وَّمَا
wamā
and (He) Who
س-و-ي
![]()
سَوَّىٰهَا
سَوّٰىهَا
sawwāhā
proportioned it,
91:8
ل-ه-م
![]()
فَأَلۡهَمَهَا
فَاَلْهَمَهَا
fa-alhamahā
And He inspired it
ف-ج-ر
![]()
فُجُورَهَا
فُجُوْرَهَا
fujūrahā
(to distinguish) its wickedness
و-ق-ي
![]()
وَتَقۡوَىٰهَا
وَتَقْوٰىهَا
wataqwāhā
and its righteousness
91:9
ق-د
![]()
قَدۡ
قَدْ
qad
Indeed,
ف-ل-ح
![]()
أَفۡلَحَ
اَفْلَحَ
aflaḥa
he succeeds
م-ن
![]()
مَن
مَنْ
man
who
ز-ك-و
![]()
زَكَّىٰهَا
زَكّٰىهَا
zakkāhā
purifies it,
91:10
ق-د
![]()
وَقَدۡ
وَقَدْ
waqad
And indeed,
خ-ي-ب
![]()
خَابَ
خَابَ
khāba
he fails
م-ن
![]()
مَن
مَنْ
man
who
د-س-و
![]()
دَسَّىٰهَا
دَسّٰىهَا
dassāhā
buries it.
