س-م-و

وَٱلسَّمَآءِ
وَالسَّمَآءِ
was-samāi
By the sky,
ذ-و
![]()
ذَاتِ
ذَاتِ
dhāti
containing
ب-ر-ج
![]()
ٱلۡبُرُوجِ
الْبُرُوْجِ
l-burūji
the constellations,
85:2
ي-و-م
![]()
وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ
وَالْیَوْمِ
wal-yawmi
And the Day
و-ع-د
![]()
ٱلۡمَوۡعُودِ
الْمَوْعُوْدِ
l-mawʿūdi
Promised,
85:3
ش-ه-د
![]()
وَشَاهِدٖ
وَشَاهِدٍ
washāhidin
And (the) witness
ش-ه-د
![]()
وَمَشۡهُودٖ
وَّمَشْهُوْدٍ
wamashhūdin
and what is witnessed,
85:4
ق-ت-ل

قُتِلَ
قُتِلَ
qutila
Destroyed were
ص-ح-ب
![]()
أَصۡحَٰبُ
اَصْحٰبُ
aṣḥābu
(the) companions
خ-د-د
![]()
ٱلۡأُخۡدُودِ
الْاُخْدُوْدِ
l-ukh'dūdi
(of) the pit,
85:5
ن-و-ر
![]()
ٱلنَّارِ
النَّارِ
an-nāri
(Of) the fire
ذ-و
![]()
ذَاتِ
ذَاتِ
dhāti
full
و-ق-د
![]()
ٱلۡوَقُودِ
الْوَقُوْدِ
l-waqūdi
(of) the fuel,
85:6
ا-ذ

إِذۡ
اِذْ
idh
When
ه-م
![]()
هُمۡ
هُمْ
hum
they
ع-ل-ي
![]()
عَلَيۡهَا
عَلَیْهَا
ʿalayhā
by it
ق-ع-د
![]()
قُعُودٞ
قُعُوْدٌ
quʿūdun
(were) sitting,
85:7
ه-م
![]()
وَهُمۡ
وَّهُمْ
wahum
And they
ع-ل-ي
![]()
عَلَىٰ
عَلٰی
ʿalā
over
م-ا
![]()
مَا
مَا
mā
what
ف-ع-ل
![]()
يَفۡعَلُونَ
یَفْعَلُوْنَ
yafʿalūna
they were doing
ا-م-ن
![]()
بِٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
بِالْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ
bil-mu'minīna
to the believers
ش-ه-د
![]()
شُهُودٞ
شُهُوْدٌ
shuhūdun
witnesses.
85:8
م-ا
![]()
وَمَا
وَمَا
wamā
And not
ن-ق-م
![]()
نَقَمُواْ
نَقَمُوْا
naqamū
they resented
م-ن
![]()
مِنۡهُمۡ
مِنْهُمْ
min'hum
[of] them
ا-ل-ل-ا
![]()
إِلَّآ
اِلَّاۤ
illā
except
ا-ن
![]()
أَن
اَنْ
an
that
ا-م-ن
![]()
يُؤۡمِنُواْ
یُّؤْمِنُوْا
yu'minū
they believed
ا-ل-ه
![]()
بِٱللَّهِ
بِاللّٰهِ
bil-lahi
in Allah
ع-ز-ز
![]()
ٱلۡعَزِيزِ
الْعَزِیْزِ
l-ʿazīzi
the All-Mighty,
ح-م-د
![]()
ٱلۡحَمِيدِ
الْحَمِیْدِ
l-ḥamīdi
the Praiseworthy,
85:9
ا-ل-ل-ذ
![]()
ٱلَّذِي
الَّذِیْ
alladhī
The One Who,
ل
![]()
لَهُۥ
لَهٗ
lahu
for Him
م-ل-ك
![]()
مُلۡكُ
مُلْكُ
mul'ku
(is) the dominion
س-م-و
![]()
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
السَّمٰوٰتِ
s-samāwāti
(of) the heavens
ا-ر-ض
![]()
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ
وَالْاَرْضِ ؕ—
wal-arḍi
and the earth;
ا-ل-ه
![]()
وَٱللَّهُ
وَاللّٰهُ
wal-lahu
and Allah
ع-ل-ي
![]()
عَلَىٰ
عَلٰی
ʿalā
on
ك-ل-ل
![]()
كُلِّ
كُلِّ
kulli
every
ش-ي-ا
![]()
شَيۡءٖ
شَیْءٍ
shayin
thing
ش-ه-د
![]()
شَهِيدٌ
شَهِیْدٌ
shahīdun
(is) a Witness.
85:10
ا-ن-ن
![]()
إِنَّ
اِنَّ
inna
Indeed,
ا-ل-ل-ذ
![]()
ٱلَّذِينَ
الَّذِیْنَ
alladhīna
those who
ف-ت-ن
![]()
فَتَنُواْ
فَتَنُوا
fatanū
persecuted
ا-م-ن
![]()
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ
l-mu'minīna
the believing men
ا-م-ن
![]()
وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ
وَالْمُؤْمِنٰتِ
wal-mu'mināti
and the believing women,
ث-م-م
![]()
ثُمَّ
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
ل-م
![]()
لَمۡ
لَمْ
lam
not
ت-و-ب
![]()
يَتُوبُواْ
یَتُوْبُوْا
yatūbū
they repented,
ل
![]()
فَلَهُمۡ
فَلَهُمْ
falahum
then for them
ع-ذ-ب
![]()
عَذَابُ
عَذَابُ
ʿadhābu
(is the) punishment
ج-ه-ن-م
![]()
جَهَنَّمَ
جَهَنَّمَ
jahannama
(of) Hell
ل
![]()
وَلَهُمۡ
وَلَهُمْ
walahum
and for them
ع-ذ-ب
![]()
عَذَابُ
عَذَابُ
ʿadhābu
(is the) punishment
ح-ر-ق
![]()
ٱلۡحَرِيقِ
الْحَرِیْقِ
l-ḥarīqi
(of) the Burning Fire.
