    Surah Anam

      6:1
      ح-م-د
      ٱلۡحَمۡدُ اَلْحَمْدُ al-ḥamdu (All) the praises and thanks
      ا-ل-ه
      لِلَّهِ لِلّٰهِ lillahi (be) to Allah,
      ا-ل-ل-ذ
      ٱلَّذِي الَّذِیْ alladhī the One Who
      خ-ل-ق
      خَلَقَ خَلَقَ khalaqa created
      س-م-و
      ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ السَّمٰوٰتِ s-samāwāti the heavens
      ا-ر-ض
      وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَالْاَرْضَ wal-arḍa and the earth
      ج-ع-ل
      وَجَعَلَ وَجَعَلَ wajaʿala and made
      ظ-ل-م
      ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ الظُّلُمٰتِ ẓ-ẓulumāti the darkness[es]
      ن-و-ر
      وَٱلنُّورَۖ وَالنُّوْرَ ؕ۬— wan-nūra and the light.
      ث-م-م
      ثُمَّ ثُمَّ thumma Then
      ا-ل-ل-ذ
      ٱلَّذِينَ الَّذِیْنَ alladhīna those who
      ك-ف-ر
      كَفَرُواْ كَفَرُوْا kafarū disbelieved
      ر-ب-ب
      بِرَبِّهِمۡ بِرَبِّهِمْ birabbihim in their Lord
      ع-د-ل
      يَعۡدِلُونَ یَعْدِلُوْنَ yaʿdilūna equate others with Him.
      ١ ۟ (1)
      6:2
      ه-و
      هُوَ هُوَ huwa He
      ا-ل-ل-ذ
      ٱلَّذِي الَّذِیْ alladhī (is) the One Who
      خ-ل-ق
      خَلَقَكُم خَلَقَكُمْ khalaqakum created you
      م-ن
      مِّن مِّنْ min from
      ط-ي-ن
      طِينٖ طِیْنٍ ṭīnin clay
      ث-م-م
      ثُمَّ ثُمَّ thumma then
      ق-ض-ي
      قَضَىٰٓ قَضٰۤی qaḍā He decreed
      ا-ج-ل
      أَجَلٗاۖ اَجَلًا ؕ— ajalan a term -
      ا-ج-ل
      وَأَجَلٞ وَاَجَلٌ wa-ajalun and a term
      س-م-و
      مُّسَمًّى مُّسَمًّی musamman specified
      ع-ن-د
      عِندَهُۥۖ عِنْدَهٗ ʿindahu with Him,
      ث-م-م
      ثُمَّ ثُمَّ thumma yet
      ا-ن-ت-م
      أَنتُمۡ اَنْتُمْ antum you
      م-ر-ي
      تَمۡتَرُونَ تَمْتَرُوْنَ tamtarūna doubt.
      ٢ ۟ (2)
      6:3
      ه-و
      وَهُوَ وَهُوَ wahuwa And He
      ا-ل-ه
      ٱللَّهُ اللّٰهُ l-lahu (is) Allah
      ف-ي
      فِي فِی in
      س-م-و
      ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ السَّمٰوٰتِ s-samāwāti the heavens
      ف-ي
      وَفِي وَفِی wafī and in
      ا-ر-ض
      ٱلۡأَرۡضِ الْاَرْضِ ؕ— l-arḍi the earth.
      ع-ل-م
      يَعۡلَمُ یَعْلَمُ yaʿlamu He knows
      س-ر-ر
      سِرَّكُمۡ سِرَّكُمْ sirrakum your secret
      ج-ه-ر
      وَجَهۡرَكُمۡ وَجَهْرَكُمْ wajahrakum and what you make public
      ع-ل-م
      وَيَعۡلَمُ وَیَعْلَمُ wayaʿlamu and He knows
      م-ا
      مَا مَا what
      ك-س-ب
      تَكۡسِبُونَ تَكْسِبُوْنَ taksibūna you earn.
      ٣ ۟ (3)
      6:4
      م-ا
      وَمَا وَمَا wamā And not
      ا-ت-ي
      تَأۡتِيهِم تَاْتِیْهِمْ tatīhim comes to them
      م-ن
      مِّنۡ مِّنْ min [of]
      ا-ي-ا
      ءَايَةٖ اٰیَةٍ āyatin any sign
      م-ن
      مِّنۡ مِّنْ min from
      ا-ي-ا
      ءَايَٰتِ اٰیٰتِ āyāti (the) Signs
      ر-ب-ب
      رَبِّهِمۡ رَبِّهِمْ rabbihim (of) their Lord
      ا-ل-ل-ا
      إِلَّا اِلَّا illā but
      ك-و-ن
      كَانُواْ كَانُوْا kānū they are
      ع-ن
      عَنۡهَا عَنْهَا ʿanhā from it
      ع-ر-ض
      مُعۡرِضِينَ مُعْرِضِیْنَ muʿ'riḍīna turning away.
      ٤ ۟ (4)
      6:5
      ق-د
      فَقَدۡ فَقَدْ faqad Then indeed,
      ك-ذ-ب
      كَذَّبُواْ كَذَّبُوْا kadhabū they denied
      ح-ق-ق
      بِٱلۡحَقِّ بِالْحَقِّ bil-ḥaqi the truth
      ل-م-م-ا
      لَمَّا لَمَّا lammā when
      ج-ي-ا
      جَآءَهُمۡ جَآءَهُمْ ؕ— jāahum it came to them,
      س-و-ف
      فَسَوۡفَ فَسَوْفَ fasawfa but soon
      ا-ت-ي
      يَأۡتِيهِمۡ یَاْتِیْهِمْ yatīhim will come to them
      ن-ب-ا
      أَنۢبَٰٓؤُاْ اَنْۢبٰٓؤُا anbāu news
      م-ا
      مَا مَا (of) what
      ك-و-ن
      كَانُواْ كَانُوْا kānū they used to
      ب
      بِهِۦ بِهٖ bihi [at it]
      ه-ز-ا
      يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ یَسْتَهْزِءُوْنَ yastahziūna mock.
      ٥ ۟ (5)
      6:6
      ل-م
      أَلَمۡ اَلَمْ alam Did not
      ر-ا-ي
      يَرَوۡاْ یَرَوْا yaraw they see
      ك-م
      كَمۡ كَمْ kam how many
      ه-ل-ك
      أَهۡلَكۡنَا اَهْلَكْنَا ahlaknā We destroyed
      م-ن
      مِن مِنْ min before them
      ق-ب-ل
      قَبۡلِهِم قَبْلِهِمْ qablihim before them
      م-ن
      مِّن مِّنْ min of generations
      ق-ر-ن
      قَرۡنٖ قَرْنٍ qarnin of generations
      م-ك-ن
      مَّكَّنَّٰهُمۡ مَّكَّنّٰهُمْ makkannāhum We had established them
      ف-ي
      فِي فِی in
      ا-ر-ض
      ٱلۡأَرۡضِ الْاَرْضِ l-arḍi the earth
      م-ا
      مَا مَا what
      ل-م
      لَمۡ لَمْ lam We (have) not established
      م-ك-ن
      نُمَكِّن نُمَكِّنْ numakkin We (have) not established
      ل
      لَّكُمۡ لَّكُمْ lakum for you?
      ر-س-ل
      وَأَرۡسَلۡنَا وَاَرْسَلْنَا wa-arsalnā And We sent
      س-م-و
      ٱلسَّمَآءَ السَّمَآءَ s-samāa (rain from) the sky
      ع-ل-ي
      عَلَيۡهِم عَلَیْهِمْ ʿalayhim upon them
      د-ر-ر
      مِّدۡرَارٗا مِّدْرَارًا ۪— mid'rāran showering abundantly
      ج-ع-ل
      وَجَعَلۡنَا وَّجَعَلْنَا wajaʿalnā and We made
      ن-ه-ر
      ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرَ الْاَنْهٰرَ l-anhāra the rivers
      ج-ر-ي
      تَجۡرِي تَجْرِیْ tajrī flow
      م-ن
      مِن مِنْ min underneath them.
      ت-ح-ت
      تَحۡتِهِمۡ تَحْتِهِمْ taḥtihim underneath them.
      ه-ل-ك
      فَأَهۡلَكۡنَٰهُم فَاَهْلَكْنٰهُمْ fa-ahlaknāhum Then We destroyed them
      ذ-ن-ب
      بِذُنُوبِهِمۡ بِذُنُوْبِهِمْ bidhunūbihim for their sins
      ن-ش-ا
      وَأَنشَأۡنَا وَاَنْشَاْنَا wa-anshanā and We raised
      م-ن
      مِنۢ مِنْ min after them
      ب-ع-د
      بَعۡدِهِمۡ بَعْدِهِمْ baʿdihim after them
      ق-ر-ن
      قَرۡنًا قَرْنًا qarnan other generations.
      ا-خ-ر
      ءَاخَرِينَ اٰخَرِیْنَ ākharīna other generations.
      ٦ ۟ (6)
      6:7
      ل-و
      وَلَوۡ وَلَوْ walaw And (even) if
      ن-ز-ل
      نَزَّلۡنَا نَزَّلْنَا nazzalnā We (had) sent down
      ع-ل-ي
      عَلَيۡكَ عَلَیْكَ ʿalayka to you
      ك-ت-ب
      كِتَٰبٗا كِتٰبًا kitāban a written Scripture
      ف-ي
      فِي فِیْ in
      ق-ر-ط-س
      قِرۡطَاسٖ قِرْطَاسٍ qir'ṭāsin a parchment
      ل-م-س
      فَلَمَسُوهُ فَلَمَسُوْهُ falamasūhu and they touched it
      ي-د-ي
      بِأَيۡدِيهِمۡ بِاَیْدِیْهِمْ bi-aydīhim with their hands,
      ق-و-ل
      لَقَالَ لَقَالَ laqāla surely (would) have said
      ا-ل-ل-ذ
      ٱلَّذِينَ الَّذِیْنَ alladhīna those who
      ك-ف-ر
      كَفَرُوٓاْ كَفَرُوْۤا kafarū disbelieved,
      ا-ن
      إِنۡ اِنْ in "This is not
      ه-ا-ذ
      هَٰذَآ هٰذَاۤ hādhā "This is not
      ا-ل-ل-ا
      إِلَّا اِلَّا illā but
      س-ح-ر
      سِحۡرٞ سِحْرٌ siḥ'run clear magic."
      ب-ي-ن
      مُّبِينٞ مُّبِیْنٌ mubīnun clear magic."
      ٧ ۟ (7)
      6:8
      ق-و-ل
      وَقَالُواْ وَقَالُوْا waqālū And they said,
      ل-و-ل-ا
      لَوۡلَآ لَوْلَاۤ lawlā "Why has not been
      ن-ز-ل
      أُنزِلَ اُنْزِلَ unzila sent down
      ع-ل-ي
      عَلَيۡهِ عَلَیْهِ ʿalayhi to him
      م-ل-ك
      مَلَكٞۖ مَلَكٌ ؕ— malakun an Angel?"
      ل-و
      وَلَوۡ وَلَوْ walaw And if
      ن-ز-ل
      أَنزَلۡنَا اَنْزَلْنَا anzalnā We (had) sent down
      م-ل-ك
      مَلَكٗا مَلَكًا malakan an Angel,
      ق-ض-ي
