سَبَّحَ
sabbaḥa
Glorifies
ا-ل-ه

لِلَّهِ
لِلّٰهِ
lillahi
Allah
م-ا
![]()
مَا
مَا
mā
whatever
ف-ي
![]()
فِي
فِی
fī
(is) in
س-م-و
![]()
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
السَّمٰوٰتِ
s-samāwāti
the heavens
م-ا
![]()
وَمَا
وَمَا
wamā
and whatever
ف-ي
![]()
فِي
فِی
fī
(is) in
ا-ر-ض
![]()
ٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ
الْاَرْضِ ۚ—
l-arḍi
the earth.
ه-و
![]()
وَهُوَ
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
And He
ع-ز-ز
![]()
ٱلۡعَزِيزُ
الْعَزِیْزُ
l-ʿazīzu
(is) the All-Mighty,
ح-ك-م
![]()
ٱلۡحَكِيمُ
الْحَكِیْمُ
l-ḥakīmu
the All-Wise.
Everything in the heavens and everything on earth praises God, who is the almighty, the supremely wise.

ا-ي-ي

یٰۤاَیُّهَا

O you who believe!
ا-ل-ل-ذ

ٱلَّذِينَ
الَّذِیْنَ
alladhīna
O you who believe!
ا-م-ن

ءَامَنُواْ
اٰمَنُوْا
āmanū
O you who believe!
ل-م
![]()
لِمَ
لِمَ
lima
Why
ق-و-ل
![]()
تَقُولُونَ
تَقُوْلُوْنَ
taqūlūna
(do) you say
م-ا
![]()
مَا
مَا
mā
what
ل-ا
![]()
لَا
لَا
lā
you do not do?
ف-ع-ل
![]()
تَفۡعَلُونَ
تَفْعَلُوْنَ
tafʿalūna
you do not do?
Believers, why do you say what you do not do?

Great is
م-ق-ت

مَقۡتًا
مَقْتًا

hatred
ع-ن-د

عِندَ

ا-ل-ه

ٱللَّهِ
اللّٰهِ
l-lahi
Allah
ا-ن

أَن
اَنْ
an
that
ق-و-ل
![]()
تَقُولُواْ
تَقُوْلُوْا
taqūlū
you say
م-ا
![]()
مَا
مَا
mā
what
ل-ا
![]()
لَا
لَا
lā
you do not do?
ف-ع-ل
![]()
تَفۡعَلُونَ
تَفْعَلُوْنَ
tafʿalūna
you do not do?
It is tremendously hateful to God that you say what you do not do.

Indeed,
ا-ل-ه

ٱللَّهَ

Allah
ح-ب-ب

يُحِبُّ
یُحِبُّ
yuḥibbu
loves
ا-ل-ل-ذ

ٱلَّذِينَ
الَّذِیْنَ
alladhīna
those who
ق-ت-ل
![]()
يُقَٰتِلُونَ
یُقَاتِلُوْنَ
yuqātilūna
fight
ف-ي
![]()
فِي
فِیْ
fī
in
س-ب-ل
![]()
سَبِيلِهِۦ
سَبِیْلِهٖ
sabīlihi
His Way
ص-ف-ف
![]()
صَفّٗا
صَفًّا
ṣaffan
(in) a row
ك-ا-ن
![]()
كَأَنَّهُم
كَاَنَّهُمْ
ka-annahum
as if they
ب-ن-ا
![]()
بُنۡيَٰنٞ
بُنْیَانٌ
bun'yānun
(were) a structure
ر-ص-ص
![]()
مَّرۡصُوصٞ
مَّرْصُوْصٌ
marṣūṣun
joined firmly.
God loves those who fight for the sake of God in a battle line as though they were a solid building.

And when
ق-و-ل

قَالَ
قَالَ

م-و-س

مُوسَىٰ
مُوْسٰی

Musa
ق-و-م

لِقَوۡمِهِۦ
لِقَوْمِهٖ
liqawmihi
to his people,
ق-و-م
![]()
يَٰقَوۡمِ
یٰقَوْمِ
yāqawmi
"O my people!
ل-م
![]()
لِمَ
لِمَ
lima
Why
ا-ذ-ي
![]()
تُؤۡذُونَنِي
تُؤْذُوْنَنِیْ
tu'dhūnanī
do you hurt me
ق-د
![]()
وَقَد
وَقَدْ
waqad
while certainly
ع-ل-م
![]()
تَّعۡلَمُونَ
تَّعْلَمُوْنَ
taʿlamūna
you know
ا-ن-ن
![]()
أَنِّي
اَنِّیْ
annī
that I am
ر-س-ل
![]()
رَسُولُ
رَسُوْلُ
rasūlu
(the) Messenger of Allah
ا-ل-ه
![]()
ٱللَّهِ
اللّٰهِ
l-lahi
(the) Messenger of Allah
ا-ل-ي
![]()
إِلَيۡكُمۡۖ
اِلَیْكُمْ ؕ—
ilaykum
to you?"
ل-م-م-ا
![]()
فَلَمَّا
فَلَمَّا
falammā
Then when
ز-ي-غ
![]()
زَاغُوٓاْ
زَاغُوْۤا
zāghū
they deviated,
ز-ي-غ
![]()
أَزَاغَ
اَزَاغَ
azāgha
Allah caused to
ا-ل-ه
![]()
ٱللَّهُ
اللّٰهُ
l-lahu
Allah caused to
ق-ل-ب
![]()
قُلُوبَهُمۡۚ
قُلُوْبَهُمْ ؕ—
qulūbahum
their hearts.
ا-ل-ه
![]()
وَٱللَّهُ
وَاللّٰهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
ل-ا
![]()
لَا
لَا
lā
(does) not
ه-د-ي
![]()
يَهۡدِي
یَهْدِی
yahdī
guide
ق-و-م
![]()
ٱلۡقَوۡمَ
الْقَوْمَ
l-qawma
the people,
ف-س-ق
![]()
ٱلۡفَٰسِقِينَ
الْفٰسِقِیْنَ
l-fāsiqīna
the defiantly disobedient.
Moses said to his people, “Why do you injure me when you know I am God’s messenger to you?” And when they deviated, God let their hearts become perverse, as God does not guide people who are dissolute.

Isa,
ب-ن-و

ٱبۡنُ
ابْنُ
ub'nu
son
م-ر-ي-م

مَرۡيَمَ
مَرْیَمَ
maryama
(of) Maryam,
ب-ن-و
![]()
يَٰبَنِيٓ
یٰبَنِیْۤ
yābanī
"O Children of Israel!
ا-س-ر
![]()
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
اِسْرَآءِیْلَ
is'rāīla
"O Children of Israel!
ا-ن-ن
![]()
إِنِّي
اِنِّیْ
innī
Indeed, I am
ر-س-ل
![]()
رَسُولُ
رَسُوْلُ
rasūlu
(the) Messenger of Allah
ا-ل-ه
![]()
ٱللَّهِ
اللّٰهِ
l-lahi
(the) Messenger of Allah
ا-ل-ي
![]()
إِلَيۡكُم
اِلَیْكُمْ
ilaykum
to you,
ص-د-ق
![]()
مُّصَدِّقٗا
مُّصَدِّقًا
muṣaddiqan
confirming
ل-م-ا
![]()
لِّمَا
لِّمَا
limā
that which
ب-ي-ن
![]()
بَيۡنَ
بَیْنَ
bayna
(was) before me
ي-د-ي
![]()
يَدَيَّ
یَدَیَّ
yadayya
(was) before me
م-ن
![]()
مِنَ
مِنَ
mina
of
ت-و-ر-ا
![]()
ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةِ
التَّوْرٰىةِ
l-tawrāti
the Taurat
ب-ش-ر
![]()
وَمُبَشِّرَۢا
وَمُبَشِّرًا
wamubashiran
and bringer of glad
ر-س-ل
![]()
بِرَسُولٖ
بِرَسُوْلٍ
birasūlin
(of) a Messenger
ا-ت-ي
![]()
يَأۡتِي
یَّاْتِیْ
yatī
to come
م-ن
![]()
مِنۢ
مِنْ
min
after me,
ب-ع-د
![]()
بَعۡدِي
بَعْدِی
baʿdī
after me,
س-م-و
![]()
ٱسۡمُهُۥٓ
اسْمُهٗۤ
us'muhu
whose name (will be)
ح-م-د
![]()
أَحۡمَدُۖ
اَحْمَدُ ؕ—
aḥmadu
Ahmad"
ل-م-م-ا
![]()
فَلَمَّا
فَلَمَّا
falammā
But when
ج-ي-ا
![]()
جَآءَهُم
جَآءَهُمْ
jāahum
he came to them
ب-ي-ن
![]()
بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ
بِالْبَیِّنٰتِ
bil-bayināti
with clear proofs,
ق-و-ل
![]()
قَالُواْ
قَالُوْا
qālū
they said,
ه-ا-ذ
![]()
هَٰذَا
هٰذَا
hādhā
"This
س-ح-ر
![]()
سِحۡرٞ
سِحْرٌ
siḥ'run
(is) a magic
ب-ي-ن
![]()
مُّبِينٞ
مُّبِیْنٌ
mubīnun
clear."
And Jesus Son of Mary said, “O Children of Israel, I am God’s messenger to you, confirming the truth of the Torah before me, and heralding a messenger who will come after me, his name Ahmad, most praiseworthy.” But when he brought them proofs, they said, “This is obvious sorcery!”

And who
ظ-ل-م

أَظۡلَمُ
اَظْلَمُ
aẓlamu
(is) more wrong
م-ن

مِمَّنِ
مِمَّنِ
mimmani
than (one) who
ف-ر-ي
![]()
ٱفۡتَرَىٰ
افْتَرٰی
if'tarā
invents
ع-ل-ي
![]()
عَلَى
عَلَی
ʿalā
upon
ا-ل-ه
![]()
ٱللَّهِ
اللّٰهِ
l-lahi
Allah
ك-ذ-ب
![]()
ٱلۡكَذِبَ
الْكَذِبَ
l-kadhiba
the lie
ه-و
![]()
وَهُوَ
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
while he
د-ع-و
![]()
يُدۡعَىٰٓ
یُدْعٰۤی
yud'ʿā
is invited
ا-ل-ي
![]()
إِلَى
اِلَی
ilā
to
س-ل-م
![]()
ٱلۡإِسۡلَٰمِۚ
الْاِسْلَامِ ؕ—
l-is'lāmi
Islam?
ا-ل-ه
![]()
وَٱللَّهُ
وَاللّٰهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
ل-ا
![]()
لَا
لَا
lā
(does) not
ه-د-ي
![]()
يَهۡدِي
یَهْدِی
yahdī
guide
ق-و-م
![]()
ٱلۡقَوۡمَ
الْقَوْمَ
l-qawma
the people
ظ-ل-م
![]()
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
الظّٰلِمِیْنَ
ẓ-ẓālimīna
[the] wrongdoers.
And who is more wrong than one who invents falsehood against God even as he is invited to acquiescence; as God does not guide people doing wrong.

ر-و-د

يُرِيدُونَ
یُرِیْدُوْنَ
yurīdūna
They intend
ط-ف-ا
![]()
لِيُطۡفِـُٔواْ
لِیُطْفِـُٔوْا
liyuṭ'fiū
to put out
ن-و-ر
![]()
نُورَ
نُوْرَ
nūra
(the) light
ا-ل-ه
![]()
ٱللَّهِ
اللّٰهِ
l-lahi
(of) Allah
ف-و-ه
![]()
بِأَفۡوَٰهِهِمۡ
بِاَفْوَاهِهِمْ ؕ—
bi-afwāhihim
with their mouths,
ا-ل-ه
![]()
وَٱللَّهُ
وَاللّٰهُ
wal-lahu
but Allah
ت-م-م
![]()
مُتِمُّ
مُتِمُّ
mutimmu
will perfect
ن-و-ر
![]()
نُورِهِۦ
نُوْرِهٖ
nūrihi
His Light
ل-و
![]()
وَلَوۡ
وَلَوْ
walaw
although
ك-ر-ه
![]()
كَرِهَ
كَرِهَ
kariha
dislike
ك-ف-ر
![]()
ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ
الْكٰفِرُوْنَ
l-kāfirūna
the disbelievers.
They want to extinguish the light of God with their mouths, but God will complete the divine illumination in spite of the hatred of the atheists.

He
ا-ل-ل-ذ

ٱلَّذِيٓ
الَّذِیْۤ
alladhī
(is) the One Who
ر-س-ل

أَرۡسَلَ
اَرْسَلَ
arsala
sent
ر-س-ل
![]()
رَسُولَهُۥ
رَسُوْلَهٗ
rasūlahu
His Messenger
ه-د-ي
![]()
بِٱلۡهُدَىٰ
بِالْهُدٰی
bil-hudā
with guidance
د-ي-ن
![]()
وَدِينِ
وَدِیْنِ
wadīni
and (the) religion
ح-ق-ق
![]()
ٱلۡحَقِّ
الْحَقِّ
l-ḥaqi
(of) the truth,
ظ-ه-ر
![]()
لِيُظۡهِرَهُۥ
لِیُظْهِرَهٗ
liyuẓ'hirahu
to make it prevail
ع-ل-ي
![]()
عَلَى
عَلَی
ʿalā
over
د-ي-ن
![]()
ٱلدِّينِ
الدِّیْنِ
d-dīni
the religion
ك-ل-ل
![]()
كُلِّهِۦ
كُلِّهٖ
kullihi
all of them,
ل-و
![]()
وَلَوۡ
وَلَوْ
walaw
although
ك-ر-ه
![]()
كَرِهَ
كَرِهَ
kariha
dislike (it)
ش-ر-ك
![]()
ٱلۡمُشۡرِكُونَ
الْمُشْرِكُوْنَ
l-mush'rikūna
the polytheists.
God is the one who sent the messenger with the guidance and the religion of truth, to reveal it to all religion, even if polytheists object.

ا-ي-ي

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
یٰۤاَیُّهَا
yāayyuhā
O you who believe!
ا-ل-ل-ذ

ٱلَّذِينَ
الَّذِیْنَ
alladhīna
O you who believe!
ا-م-ن
![]()
ءَامَنُواْ
اٰمَنُوْا
āmanū
O you who believe!
ه-ل
![]()
هَلۡ
هَلْ
hal
Shall
د-ل-ل
![]()
أَدُلُّكُمۡ
اَدُلُّكُمْ
adullukum
I guide you
ع-ل-ي
![]()
عَلَىٰ
عَلٰی
ʿalā
to
ت-ج-ر
![]()
تِجَٰرَةٖ
تِجَارَةٍ
tijāratin
a transaction
ن-ج-و
![]()
تُنجِيكُم
تُنْجِیْكُمْ
tunjīkum
(that) will save you
م-ن
![]()
مِّنۡ
مِّنْ
min
from
ع-ذ-ب
![]()
عَذَابٍ
عَذَابٍ
ʿadhābin
a punishment
ا-ل-م
![]()
أَلِيمٖ
اَلِیْمٍ
alīmin
painful?
Believers, shall I guide you to a trade that will save you from intense agony—
