ا-ل-م

Alif Laam Meem
2:2
ذ-ل-ك

ذَٰلِكَ
ذٰلِكَ
dhālika
That
ك-ت-ب
![]()
ٱلۡكِتَٰبُ
الْكِتٰبُ
l-kitābu
(is) the book
ل-ا
![]()
لَا
لَا
lā
no
ر-ي-ب
![]()
رَيۡبَۛ
رَیْبَ ۛۖۚ—
rayba
doubt
ف-ي
![]()
فِيهِۛ
فِیْهِ ۛۚ—
fīhi
in it,
ه-د-ي
![]()
هُدٗى
هُدًی
hudan
a Guidance
و-ق-ي
![]()
لِّلۡمُتَّقِينَ
لِّلْمُتَّقِیْنَ
lil'muttaqīna
for the God-conscious.
2:3
ا-ل-ل-ذ
![]()
ٱلَّذِينَ
الَّذِیْنَ
alladhīna
Those who
ا-م-ن
![]()
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
یُؤْمِنُوْنَ
yu'minūna
believe
غ-ي-ب
![]()
بِٱلۡغَيۡبِ
بِالْغَیْبِ
bil-ghaybi
in the unseen,
ق-و-م
![]()
وَيُقِيمُونَ
وَیُقِیْمُوْنَ
wayuqīmūna
and establish
ص-ل-و
![]()
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
الصَّلٰوةَ
ṣ-ṣalata
the prayer,
م-م-ا
![]()
وَمِمَّا
وَمِمَّا
wamimmā
and out of what
ر-ز-ق
![]()
رَزَقۡنَٰهُمۡ
رَزَقْنٰهُمْ
razaqnāhum
We have provided them
ن-ف-ق
![]()
يُنفِقُونَ
یُنْفِقُوْنَ
yunfiqūna
they spend.
2:4
ا-ل-ل-ذ
![]()
وَٱلَّذِينَ
وَالَّذِیْنَ
wa-alladhīna
And those who
ا-م-ن
![]()
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
یُؤْمِنُوْنَ
yu'minūna
believe
ب-م-ا
![]()
بِمَآ
بِمَاۤ
bimā
in what
ن-ز-ل
![]()
أُنزِلَ
اُنْزِلَ
unzila
(is) sent down
ا-ل-ي
![]()
إِلَيۡكَ
اِلَیْكَ
ilayka
to you
م-ا
![]()
وَمَآ
وَمَاۤ
wamā
and what
ن-ز-ل
![]()
أُنزِلَ
اُنْزِلَ
unzila
was sent down
م-ن
![]()
مِن
مِنْ
min
from
ق-ب-ل
![]()
قَبۡلِكَ
قَبْلِكَ ۚ—
qablika
before you
ا-خ-ر
![]()
وَبِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ
وَبِالْاٰخِرَةِ
wabil-ākhirati
and in the Hereafter
ه-م
![]()
هُمۡ
هُمْ
hum
they
ي-ق-ن
![]()
يُوقِنُونَ
یُوْقِنُوْنَ
yūqinūna
firmly believe.
2:5
ا-و-ل-ا
![]()
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
اُولٰٓىِٕكَ
ulāika
Those
ع-ل-ي
![]()
عَلَىٰ
عَلٰی
ʿalā
(are) on
ه-د-ي
![]()
هُدٗى
هُدًی
hudan
Guidance
م-ن
![]()
مِّن
مِّنْ
min
from
ر-ب-ب
![]()
رَّبِّهِمۡۖ
رَّبِّهِمْ ۗ—
rabbihim
their Lord,
ا-و-ل-ا
![]()
وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
وَاُولٰٓىِٕكَ
wa-ulāika
and those -
ه-م
![]()
هُمُ
هُمُ
humu
they
ف-ل-ح
![]()
ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ
الْمُفْلِحُوْنَ
l-muf'liḥūna
(are) the successful ones.
2:6
ا-ن-ن
![]()
إِنَّ
اِنَّ
inna
Indeed,
ا-ل-ل-ذ
![]()
ٱلَّذِينَ
الَّذِیْنَ
alladhīna
those who
ك-ف-ر
![]()
كَفَرُواْ
كَفَرُوْا
kafarū
disbelieve[d],
س-و-ي
![]()
سَوَآءٌ
سَوَآءٌ
sawāon
(it) is same
ع-ل-ي
![]()
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
عَلَیْهِمْ
ʿalayhim
to them
ن-ذ-ر
![]()
ءَأَنذَرۡتَهُمۡ
ءَاَنْذَرْتَهُمْ
a-andhartahum
whether you warn them
ا-م
![]()
أَمۡ
اَمْ
am
or
ل-م
![]()
لَمۡ
لَمْ
lam
not
ن-ذ-ر
![]()
تُنذِرۡهُمۡ
تُنْذِرْهُمْ
tundhir'hum
you warn them,
ل-ا
![]()
لَا
لَا
lā
not
ا-م-ن
![]()
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
یُؤْمِنُوْنَ
yu'minūna
they believe.
2:7
خ-ت-م
![]()
خَتَمَ
خَتَمَ
khatama
Has set a seal
ا-ل-ه
![]()
ٱللَّهُ
اللّٰهُ
l-lahu
Allah
ع-ل-ي
![]()
عَلَىٰ
عَلٰی
ʿalā
on
ق-ل-ب
![]()
قُلُوبِهِمۡ
قُلُوْبِهِمْ
qulūbihim
their hearts
ع-ل-ي
![]()
وَعَلَىٰ
وَعَلٰی
waʿalā
and on
س-م-ع
![]()
سَمۡعِهِمۡۖ
سَمْعِهِمْ ؕ—
samʿihim
their hearing,
ع-ل-ي
![]()
وَعَلَىٰٓ
وَعَلٰۤی
waʿalā
and on
ب-ص-ر
![]()
أَبۡصَٰرِهِمۡ
اَبْصَارِهِمْ
abṣārihim
their vision
غ-ش-ي
![]()
غِشَٰوَةٞۖ
غِشَاوَةٌ ؗ—
ghishāwatun
(is) a veil.
ل
![]()
وَلَهُمۡ
وَّلَهُمْ
walahum
And for them
ع-ذ-ب
![]()
عَذَابٌ
عَذَابٌ
ʿadhābun
(is) a punishment
ع-ظ-م
![]()
عَظِيمٞ
عَظِیْمٌ
ʿaẓīmun
great.
2:8
م-ن
![]()
وَمِنَ
وَمِنَ
wamina
And of
ن-و-س
![]()
ٱلنَّاسِ
النَّاسِ
n-nāsi
the people
م-ن
![]()
مَن
مَنْ
man
(are some) who
ق-و-ل
![]()
يَقُولُ
یَّقُوْلُ
yaqūlu
say,
ا-م-ن
![]()
ءَامَنَّا
اٰمَنَّا
āmannā
"We believed
ا-ل-ه
![]()
بِٱللَّهِ
بِاللّٰهِ
bil-lahi
in Allah
ي-و-م
![]()
وَبِٱلۡيَوۡمِ
وَبِالْیَوْمِ
wabil-yawmi
and in the Day
ا-خ-ر
![]()
ٱلۡأٓخِرِ
الْاٰخِرِ
l-ākhiri
[the] Last,"
م-ا
![]()
وَمَا
وَمَا
wamā
but not
ه-م
![]()
هُم
هُمْ
hum
they
ا-م-ن
![]()
بِمُؤۡمِنِينَ
بِمُؤْمِنِیْنَ
bimu'minīna
(are) believers (at all).
2:9
خ-د-ع
![]()
يُخَٰدِعُونَ
یُخٰدِعُوْنَ
yukhādiʿūna
They seek to deceive
ا-ل-ه
![]()
ٱللَّهَ
اللّٰهَ
l-laha
Allah
ا-ل-ل-ذ
![]()
وَٱلَّذِينَ
وَالَّذِیْنَ
wa-alladhīna
and those who
ا-م-ن
![]()
ءَامَنُواْ
اٰمَنُوْا ۚ—
āmanū
believe[d],
م-ا
![]()
وَمَا
وَمَا
wamā
and not
خ-د-ع
![]()
يَخۡدَعُونَ
یَخْدَعُوْنَ
yakhdaʿūna
they deceive
ا-ل-ل-ا
![]()
إِلَّآ
اِلَّاۤ
illā
except
ن-ف-س
![]()
أَنفُسَهُمۡ
اَنْفُسَهُمْ
anfusahum
themselves,
م-ا
![]()
وَمَا
وَمَا
wamā
and not
ش-ع-ر
![]()
يَشۡعُرُونَ
یَشْعُرُوْنَ
yashʿurūna
they realize (it).
2:10
ف-ي
![]()
فِي
فِیْ
fī
In
ق-ل-ب
![]()
قُلُوبِهِم
قُلُوْبِهِمْ
qulūbihim
their hearts
م-ر-ض
![]()
مَّرَضٞ
مَّرَضٌ ۙ—
maraḍun
(is) a disease,
ز-ي-د
![]()
فَزَادَهُمُ
فَزَادَهُمُ
fazādahumu
so has increased them
ا-ل-ه
![]()
ٱللَّهُ
اللّٰهُ
l-lahu
Allah
م-ر-ض
![]()
مَرَضٗاۖ
مَرَضًا ۚ—
maraḍan
(in) disease;
ل
![]()
وَلَهُمۡ
وَلَهُمْ
walahum
and for them
ع-ذ-ب
![]()
عَذَابٌ
عَذَابٌ
ʿadhābun
(is) a punishment
ا-ل-م
![]()
أَلِيمُۢ
اَلِیْمٌ ۙ۬۟ —
alīmun
painful
ب-م-ا
![]()
بِمَا
بِمَا
bimā
because
ك-و-ن
![]()
كَانُواْ
كَانُوْا
kānū
they used to
ك-ذ-ب
![]()
يَكۡذِبُونَ
یَكْذِبُوْنَ
yakdhibūna
[they] lie.
